Shah Rukh's character in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Super-Villain!

Hi readers,

More exclusive news for you all and I hope we all are having a great week. I hope all is well with everyone and that you are all happy. Again, I convey my Diwali wishes to everyone. I hope you all had a great time! I pray that in these turbulent times that God blesses us with wisdom and unity.

The exclusive news is very little but I have a lot more information about Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Obviously it comes from the main man Mr Shah Rukh Khan. The character's name is officially Surinder Saini. SRK lovingly calls him Suri. He says he is playing a boring, simple character and says this character resembles him the most in reality. However, he also plays a character called Raj. He is not playing two characters but Raj is a part of Suri. This story shows that there is a 'Raj' in every one of us. That only creates more excitement for the film. I can't wait to see how SRK does this! Well, I do not deny his acting abilities.

This is official. There is a song promo for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi releasing on King Khan's birthday. I will watch the promo myself and then I will tell you my views on it. I will analyse it for you and will hopefully post the video on here. That way, you can view the video whenever you like.

The poll has closed and we have a winner. There is only one winner to this and it was clear from the first day it was going to win. Yes, I am talking about my next story. Yes, it is official from right now, due to public vote the next story I am writing is the Super-Villain story. As I have told you the planning was complete for both stories and the Infidelity story will be the one I will write after the Super-Villain story. I am really looking forward to writing this story.

I won't let you go just like that. I will give you the title and the tag line to the new story. I hope you like it, I hope it lives up to your expectations.
Title: Paralysed in Evil.
Tagline: When you lead two lives...They become one with the power of evil. The result is me...Sameer!

I hope you like it and take care everyone. I will write again to you all very soon.
Lots of love,

Shah Rukh Khan's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi update! My next story is...?

Hello everyone,

Hope all is well with you. It has been a tough few days for me; I have completed one coursework and also have to keep up with my social life. I am really tired but it does not stop my passion to write on the blog, write my next story or do my uni work.

First of all, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi...this is becoming the most anticipated movie of the year. I have found out when the promotions are going to begin! For all of my readers, it is going to begin on the 2nd November. You could say it is coincidence or it could be smart marketing by Yash Raj Film as the promotions start on Shah Rukh Khan's birthday. The King of Bollywood will be 43 years on the day.

I am eagerly waiting for the promotions to start and the music release is on the 6th November. As I said before, I will post my review of the album on here. I am waiting to see how the music may fare with this one. As the music is composed by Salim-Sulaiman, their last album 'Roadside Romeo' was not as good as I expected it to be. However, their music for Fashion is amazing.

Next we go on to the main topic. As there is only three days left to vote for you to decide which novel I will be writing next; it is best to tell you what is happening with 'Love is Complicated' too.

Let's start with 'Love is Complicated'. At the moment, I am waiting for the five people that are reading my novel to get back to me with their reviews. I will post bits of their reviews on here for all of you to read. To think that I am only 5 days away from reading their reviews, it is quite scary. Although, I know my novel is not a masterpiece, I never intended it to be. I do not believe it is different. The only unique thing about it is that my style is different, my story-telling is different and I am only here to entertain. I want people to read my story as if they are watching a movie.

Once I get the reviews, I will start approaching literary agents. Here is my call to them, if there are any literary agents or if anyone knows someone that is...please contact me via the blog. However, I really cannot wait and with God's blessings...in a year or two my novel will be published.

So now we go onto my next story. What is it going to be? At the moment, it is the Super-Villain story and I have started planning the structure to this story. There is 3 days left and if you have not voted then please do vote. I have left everyone a little preview of my two proposed stories underneath the voting window. Only 3 days left and if it goes by what is happening now...the Super-Villain story will be the one!

OK...I will catch you all soon. Hopefully before the 2nd November. I would like to wish everyone a Happy Diwali and may God bless everyone with goodness in their hearts.
Thanks for reading, lots of love,
Rahul N. Singh

First Look- Shah Rukh Khan in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi

Hello Readers,

Three big names come together to stop the decline in the interest that people are having with Bollywood. Yes, it is the trio of Aditya Chopra-Shah Rukh Khan-Yash Raj Films. The movie was announced in February and the shooting for the film started in May.

Before the shooting ended, the media was able to catch a glimpse of their favourite Khan in two avatars. One was a middle-aged man sporting a moustache and spectacles. The other a college student sporting spiky hair and sunglasses on a motorbike. This look created a craze with fans of SRK!

Aditya Chopra previously directed two hit movies and is back in the director's seat after 8 long years. We all remember the evergreen 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ)' which still has shows running in a Mumbai cinema. It celebrated its 675th week recently and is the longest running Hindi movie! Also he directed Mohabbetein which brought Amitabh Bachchan and SRK together for the first time and both gave powerful performances.

Yash Raj Films (YRF) at one time were the top production house in the Industry. However now they are desperate for a Blockbuster. Last year, the SRK-starrer Chak De India was the only blockbuster for YRF that year. This year they have not had a blockbuster so now all the eyes are on Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi (The Couple created by God). Now we do expect SRK to save YRF yet again.

The title of the film suggests something is special. It suggests that something is unique about the this couple that is going to be present infront of our eyes in just a moment. Here take a look at the teaser poster! Click on the picture to see the bigger version! We see the exclusive look for SRK. The poster itself shows that something is notable and is one-of-a-kind. SRK has a baggy shirt, brown trousers with sport shoes. We can only assume what type of character he is playing. SRK has said he is playing a boring guy so let us see how this energetic actor creates a boring character! This is obviously the 'older' look that is evident in the poster. Although SRK does not claim to do 'method acting' we all know he does it and this is probably why we respect him for his modest approach to his own acting abilities.

Also we see Anushka Sharma, who is the lucky girl that is going to be romancing the King Khan. She is wearing what I would guess is her wedding clothes as it is red and is holding onto SRK with a smile. One feature that really stands out in the poster is her eyes. The expressions show that she is naive and sweet. Now if we compare it to SRK's eyes in the poster is that SRK looks nervous and there is a hint of fear in those eyes. With Anushka hiding behind SRK, we can only assume what story is going to be narrated infront of us.

If we go beyond the two actors, we see a scooter which says 'Punjab Power' so are we going to see a lot of Punjab in this just like we did with DDLJ? Are we going to see SRK drive a scooter in his 'older' avatar. In the far background, we can see the shape of a dome. So I guess this is a temple. Maybe that is why the film is called 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi'? At the bottom right we see the date of release which is the 12th December. However above the date, we see a 'dancing couple' so what is this? To add more interest, there are rumours that SRK is dancing in a 12 minute song which is an 'old-fashioned' song and he'll be dancing with the likes of Preity Zinta, Rani Mukherjee, Bipasha Basu and Lara Dutta. However it is a rumour and has not been confirmed.

Most of all is the tag line for the film. 'There is an extraordinary love story in every ordinary jodi.' What more can I say to this? I can only assume what type of love story it is going to be! I wonder what is going to be extraordinary about this love story? How are SRK-Anuskha going to portray ordinary characters in an extraordinary love story? Will they be able to pull it off? I am sure they will!

It is rumoured that the trailer for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi will be shown with Roadside Romeo. So we have to wait for this Diwali-weekend to see the magic of Aditya Chopra-SRK-YRF light up our screens once again!

This is the start of the many posts we will see of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. From the exclusive promos to the reviews of the music and movie. Get ready for Bollywood's biggest blockbuster of the year discussed on this very blog!

Thanks for reading,

True Love...is it a true reality or a romantic writers concept?

Hello Readers,

I am back after a good week. I have been so busy with uni work but I always make time for you all on the blog. I hope you all enjoyed reading the last blog post as much as I enjoyed writing it!

The title of my blog is what I questioned in 'Sacrifice-a sign of true love or not?' I questioned whether true love was a concept made up by romantic writers like myself or is it a true reality? I am sure you must have thought about it...if not...think about it now. For a few minutes.

Right, let's see it from my perspective as a writer. For me writing is very spiritual. I get a lot of energy when I write and most of my work is from my heart. Even as I plan for my future stories, I feel the ideas come from an energy that I cannot explain. When I started writing 'Love is Complicated' I had to explore love. I spent days thinking about what love must be like? Then it was about feeling that love. Then evaluating whether love was true realistically? If it was, how could I write it in my story? Hence, the whole concept of sacrifice came in. I believe as a writer, I could go to any limit to talk about love. I would personally love to go back to writing another love story!

On a personal level, I do find love to be very realistic. I might be in love or might have been in love hence I can say it is realistic. Words cannot describe love and if you can, you are a genius. To feel love, you have to accept love. To become love, you have to surrender to love. I love the concept of love because it is a real feeling. Loving someone unconditionally is the best experience that one can have. What has made me enjoy writing 'Love is Complicated' that I personally saw someone sacrifice their love for their partner and was able to see it and feel it. From that I was able to write about it because I understood what sacrifice and true love meant. All I can say it was an absolutely great experience.

I find that I am living the extended novel romance. In one story, it is about finding love, a break-up in the middle and then in the end everything is sorted out. That is all packed in a few hundred pages. However real-life romances are an open book...we write our own romances...and that becomes the special reality of an extended novel romance!

So my conclusion to this is simple. In order for a romantic writer to write about love, they have to experience it and what makes it better is when a writer can discuss it in their story with knowledge of real-life experiences!
If you have any thoughts or experiences that you would like to share please do comment and most of all...enjoy this post!

Lots of love,
Rahul N. Singh

P.S. Before I forget...make sure you have voted on the next story that you would like me to write. You only have 12 days!

Sacrifice-sign of true love or not?

Hello Readers,
I am back after a few days, although it does seem longer than that. As I reflect on my week, it has been busy. I have finally finished the editing for the first draft of my novel. Also...now I am editing for the final draft. If you remember, I chose 5 people to read the first draft of my novel. At the moment, they are reading it and hopefully I will get a few reviews by the end of the month. I will post a few lines on here, only if they would like me to.

Let's get to the topic of this blog post. This is the one topic that binds my story together. My story is about sacrificing love for someone's or some people's happiness. It is about the sacrifice of love for a friendship to remain strong. It is about the sacrifice of love for a society that has it's own culture and traditions.

While I was writing my novel, I started to end my belief in sacrificing your love. I began to feel that you really cannot sacrifice your love. It is impossible. How can someone let their love go? Can someone love another person so much, that they cannot see that person not love again? Can someone love another person so much, that they cannot see that person lose hope and faith in love? Can someone love another person so much, that they rather see their love go into another person's arms? Do you believe someone can do that?

Like I said...I started to end my belief that sacrifice happens in love...however certain things came into place in my life. I started to realise that it can happen. People do sacrifice their own happiness, their own desires, their own love to see their true love fulfill their dreams. However can we, the people see it when someone does sacrifice their love for our individual desires and happiness? Think about it, can we? You can only see it if you open your eyes. When you open your eyes to love, you will see it. I will admit as a writer I did become confused but after much thought and realisation...sacrificing your love is the truest form of love.

Death is one thing that scares the most of us. However true lovers do see death in a different way. They see death and think of the person they love. They think about whether the person they love... will ever love again? They think whether that person they are sacrificing for...would they stop believing in love, relationships or marriage? The idea of death scares a true romantic (lover) not because they are losing their life but it is actually because they constantly think about the person they truly love.

Following on...this leads to another question in mind. Is the concept of true love...true or just an aspect that romantic writers have made up? Then look forward to my next blog post as it discusses whether true love is a true concept or a false concept!

I hope you enjoyed a read...please write a comment and please give your views on this blog post!

Take care and lots of love...
Rahul N. Singh
